Filtering Events

Method: Select the filtering method of events, there are three different methods:

  • All: Display all economic events on your chart
  • Symbol: This method only works on Forex pairs, the indicator will only display the pair related events so if your chart is EURUSD the indicator will display only EUR and USD events
  • Custom: This method allows you to have full control over what events should indicator display, if you selected this method then you have to provide a list of comma separated currencies (Currency List parameter) and events (Events List) that will be displayed on the chart, for getting event names you can use the ForexFactory calendar and if you leave the events empty and only provide the currencies then indicator will display all events of those currencies

Currency List: If you selected "Custom" filtering method then you have to provide the currency codes here, separate each currency with a comma and without space

Events List: If you selected "Custom" filtering method then you have to provide the event names here, separate each event name with a comma and without space, you can get the event names from ForexFactory calendar

Show High/Medium/Low/Other Impact: If you set it to "Yes" then the indicator will display only those events that met this impact

Line Appearance

High/Medium/Low/Other Impact Color: The colors for each group of events vertical lines based on impact, you can use both color names and hexadecimal color codes

Style: The line style of vertical lines

Thickness: The thickness of vertical lines

Popup Window

Enable: If you set this parameter to "Yes" then the indicator will show a popup window if you click on an event vertical line, the window will display the event(s) data

Tooltip

Enable: If you enable the tooltip, whenever you click on a news event line a tooltip will show up that contain the event data

Background Color: The tooltip box background color, you can use both color names and hexadecimal color codes

Foreground Color: The tooltip box foreground color, you can use both color names and hexadecimal color codes

Transparency: The tooltip box transparency or alpha

Reset Data

Enable: If you enable this option the indicator will removed all of its cached data from your system on its initialization, and re downloads all the data, if you that the indicator doesn't load the event properly on your chart or some events are missing you can use this option to reset the indicator data

Limit Events

Enable: If you want to enable the limiting future set this parameter value to "Yes", which limiting future you can set a time interval for past and future, and the indicator will only load that amount of news events based on your provided time intervals, the default behaviour is to load news events based on your chart data with one month of future data

Past: The time interval for past, the format is "Day.Hour:Minutes:Second", the time format is 24 hour

Future: The time interval for past, the format is "Day.Hour:Minutes:Second", the time format is 24 hour, you can only load up to a month of future events so even if you set the future interval more than a month the indicator will only load one month of future data

Buttons

Today: Show/hide today button that will allow you to see the today news events on popup window

Yesterday: Show/hide yesterday button that will allow you to see the yesterday news events on popup window

Tomorrow: Show/hide tomorrow button that will allow you to see the tomorrow news events on popup window

Week: Show/hide current week button that will allow you to see the current week news events on popup window

Month: Show/hide current month button that will allow you to see the current month news events on popup window

To change each button appearance you can use the parameters in this section.

Back Color: The background color of a button

Hover Back Color: The background color of hovered button

Fore Color: The foreground color of a button

Border Color: The border color of a button

Border Thickness: The thickness of a border button

Font Family: The family of font that will be used for buttons text

Font Size: The size of buttons text font

Font Style: The style of buttons text font

Font Weight: The weight of buttons text font

Margin: The margin in between buttons

Padding: The padding of buttons

Opacity: The is the transparency of buttons (0-1)

Horizontal Alignment: Horizontal alignment of a single button inside panel

Vertical Alignment: Vertical alignment of a single button inside panel

Buttons Panel

Horizontal/Vertical Alignment: The alignment of buttons on your chart

Orientation: The buttons panel orientation

Back Color: The background color of buttons panel

Back Color Alpha: The transparency or alpha of buttons panel background color

Opacity: The transparency of buttons panel (0-1)

Max Height/Width: The maximum height and width of buttons panel

Update Message

Enable: Should indicator show the update to new version notification message or not when a new version of indicator was released?

Horizontal Alignment: The horizontal alignment of update notification message

Vertical Alignment: The version alignment of update notification message

Color: The color of update message, you can use both color names and hexadecimal color codes
